Lent is an ancient Christian tradition consisting of the forty days before Easter. It is customarily observed through fasting, prayer, and alms-giving, beginning on Ash Wednesday and ending on Good Friday. It's considered a solemn time of reflection and humility, where those who practice it ponder on their dependence on God.*
Two Bridges Music Press is a non-religious company. Its staff and composers come from all walks of life and have all sorts of beliefs and faiths. We think that this diversity is wonderful, and you'll find that diversity reflected in our catalog of Sacred Music. We don't discriminate against one belief, nor do we try to promote one over another.
That being said, we can't help but see the beauty found within the individual creeds, and likewise are curious to experience a bit of it ourselves, even at a corporate level (a tiny corporation, mind you, but still). As mentioned above, a common part of observing Lent is alms-giving, and we figured a good way for a business to do that, on top of our Dawn Arts Project charitable contributions, is to make it easier for churches and everyone else to purchase our music. So we've decided to have a Lent-long sale on all of our Sacred Music catalog, and a big one at that.
As a standard, every piece of Sacred Music will be 15% during the duration of Lent. On top of that, there are several subcategories that will be receive an additional 10% during their highlighted time. That means, if you visit here regularly, you can get our entire catalog of Sacred Music at a whopping 25% off! These will be updated weekly on Mondays, so be sure to check back in regularly.
With all of these prices getting hacked off, we want to emphasize our commitment to our composers and to the Dawning Arts Project charities. Absolutely none of their profits will be affected by the reduced prices. All loss of revenue is reflected in the business itself. No one who gets a paycheck from Two Bridges will experience any reduction because of these sales. This is just another way in which we are trying to
UPLIFT AND EDIFY THROUGH NEW MUSIC
